WATCH BRADLEY COOPER DESTROY ONE OF NEIL YOUNG'S CRAZIEST SOLOS... ON AIR GUITAR

Yesterday Bradley Cooper turned 40, and to celebrate he stopped by The Tonight Show to accept a birthday fro from Jimmy Fallon... and giggle... a lot. Once he and Fallon were able to compose themselves, though, we learned that the American Sniper star is an expert air guitar player, and that he's particularly adept at nailing the solo of one particular Neil Young song: "Down by the River."
Music playing and novelty fro still on his head, Cooper began miming the oddly syncopated notes with startling precision. He was timid at first, even asking Fallon's permission to stand up, but by the end of the solo he was in the audience, straddling a slightly giddy, slightly terrified woman, nailing every intricacy of the complicated solo. Even the Roots were impressed. Watch above.
