NAMM 2015: TC Electronic Launch Bass Cabs and Guitar Pedals

TC Electronic never fail to impress us at NAMM and this year they have got some very cool new additions to their toneprint pedal line as well as some fresh new bass cabinets.
Guitar Pedals

To start off we will have a look at the two very cool pedals they are launching which will make a great addition to any pedalboard. First off we have the Viscous Vibe which is a 1:1 digital recreation of the much sought after Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe. With speed, intensity and volume controls as well as a three way toggle that switched between chorus and vibrato as well as a stored toneprint from the toneprint app this stereo pedal looks to be the most diverse vibe pedal we have seen.

The other pedal that is coming from TC Electronic this year is the Helix Phaser. If you are a fan of the phaser effect in any form this pedal can deliver that sound. From the more subtle side to massive bends you can get any phase sound you will ever need. The exact sound you want not in the box? Don’t worry with the Toneprint editor software you have a great opportunity to create the exact pedal you want, no solder required.
Bass Cabs

Finally we have the very cool looking K-Series bass cabinets. Designed to replace the BC series the K-210,K212 and K410 cabs are lightweight cabinets that have been loaded up with brand new custom made speakers produced by LAVOCE. If you have picked up something like the BH550 or BH800 bass head from TC Electronic then this is the series of cabs to look at. They will come in 2×10, 2×12 and 4×10 sizes with each of them also featuring a 1″ HF driver.
